East Parade Surgery is keen to support those students who have an interest in medicine, nursing or allied professions. We offer 6 placements per academic year to which local Sixth Form students can apply in Year 12.
The placements are split into either one full day or two half days in the practice. During this time, you will shadow our clinical and non-clinical staff to gain a basic understanding of Primary Care.
Our closing dates for applications are:
- 15th March – for Summer term placements
- 5th July – for Autumn term placements
You should apply with your CV and a covering letter, including any dates of “Work Experience Week” at school and your availability during the school holidays.
