We offer numerous methods of LARC at East Parade. ‘LARC’ stands for long-acting reversible contraception. This is contraception that doesn’t depend on you remembering to take or use it to be effective and is highly effective at preventing pregnancy. The main LARC methods are the IUS and IUD (otherwise known as ‘hormone coils’ and ‘copper coils’) and the Implant. We have a weekly ‘LARC’ Clinic, run by Dr Huskins, where all of these methods of LARC are available.
