Urgent Out of
Hours' Medical Care
The Primary Care Trust is responsible for the provision of out
of hours medical cover. This is provided by the Tees, East and North
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (TENYAS) on
0845 056 8060. An out of hours doctor is available at all
times to deal with emergencies and urgent problems; if you telephone
our normal number when the surgery is closed you will be
automatically transferred.
If you ring them, TENYAS will take details of your problem and give
appropriate advice. They may arrange a consultation at the GP
Emergency Centre based at Harrogate District Hospital or send a
doctor to your home to visit if necessary.
(Home visits are available at the discretion of the duty GP).
